Manchester DAB is the licensed small-scale DAB multiplex operator for Manchester and Salford. We were awarded our multiplex operator’s licence by Ofcom in May 2022 and are now live on block 7D, carrying a diverse range of radio services across the city region.
We operate independently and aim to provide fair, transparent and proportionate access to digital broadcasting for local, community and specialist radio services.
Manchester DAB is now live and broadcasting, with 20+ radio services on air across Manchester and Salford. DSP capacity is currently full and we are operating a waiting list for DSP licence holders. We have capacity available for eligible C-DSP services, subject to licence, availability, contract and technical checks.
