About Manchester DAB
Manchester & Salford’s licensed DAB multiplex
Manchester DAB is the licensed small-scale DAB multiplex operator for Manchester and Salford. We were awarded our multiplex operator’s licence by Ofcom in May 2022 and are live on Block 7D, carrying a diverse range of radio services across the city region.
We operate independently, with a focus on fair, transparent and proportionate access to digital broadcasting for local, community and specialist radio services.

Current status
22+ services now on air
Manchester DAB is live and broadcasting across Manchester and Salford. DSP capacity is currently full and we are operating a waiting list for DSP licence holders. We have capacity available for eligible C-DSP services, subject to licence, availability, contract and technical checks.
